Judith Fan - Resident

Judith Fan grew up in Ames, Iowa. She attended Grinnell College, where she earned a B.A. in Biological Chemistry while also having the opportunity to play on the varsity women's tennis team. After college, she moved to New Orleans to pursue her medical degree at Tulane University.

During medical school, Judith had the opportunity to rotate in Nome, Alaska and Chinle, Arizona (IHS rotation), where she developed a passion for rural medicine. Her academic interests include full spectrum primary care and native medicine.

In her free time, Judith enjoys playing pickleball, biking, playing board games, hiking, and—come winter—cross-country skiing. She is incredibly excited to be back in Alaska and looks forward to spending the next few years in Soldotna!
